The Romantik Hotel is only a 2-minute walk from Eger's pedestrian zone and bus station. It has a lovely garden with a terrace, as well as free public parking and Wi-Fi. the location was perfect, 10 mins walk away from city centre. Breakfast was brilliant.

The Saliris Resort is situated in a large park in Egerszalók, 6 km from Eger, between the Mátra and Bükk mountain ranges. This was now the fourth or fifth time I have stayed at this hotel.
